While people have their opinions about what makes newborn babies smile, I have mine as well. In the midst of a milk coma, you can often see when a little one will react to the voice of a parent or a touch to the cheek. For this new addition, it was the sound of dad’s voice. If you are reading these two, you know that dad has a unique sense of humor. It is one that drew me in when I first met with them for their wedding and one that was pure entertainment during his wedding day toast. SO, I like to think that the new little man might inherit his dad’s quick wit. If it happens, let the records show that I called it. 🙂 Welcome to the world, baby Paul. A side smirk for dad.
The comfort of mom. This it the very beginning of their story as a family. These hands will carry, comfort, console and keep safe. Those tiny fingers will quickly become a memory as this first year flies by. If you know me, you know I adore animals and almost always insist on trying to include them.
