From the moment they wake up, even before the sun breaks, there are giggles coming from the bedroom. There are many nights that Matthew and Jules find themselves in the same bed together… no doubt staying up past their bed time, playing, chatting, playing on an iPod, and always, always giggling. I call Juliette a “giggle box”… because she seems to find ways to crack herself up… all. the. time. Matthew is smart. Amazingly smart. He’s one of those kids that stand out in a way that make you anxious to see where they will go in life. One of his teachers read Steve Jobs book… and commented that Matthew reminded her of him. Pretty big compliment if you ask me.

I got a chance to hang with my cousins, Uncle Jim and his wife Flo, for a couple of days before I headed to Savannah for my wedding last month. It was so great to see them as it had been almost two years. Jules is becoming quite the diva and Matty is just to smart for his own good. Jules has a favorite saying that I kept making her say.. over and over again while I was there. “Snap back girrrrllll” With a pop of the hip and a snap of the finger, she shows off her little diva side and then cracks herself up. I wish these two lived closer to Minneapolis.. but I will take any excuse for a trip!

Too fun. Thanks Flo, for snapping a photo of me and the cousins. 🙂 Love.My schedule didn’t give us enough time for a family shoot this year… so instead… we curled up at bedtime and did a few casual shots. They were having so much fun that their kitty, Bella, had to join.
