It is January in MN and winter is in full swing. We’ve had our fair share of snow fall and cold days as well as a couple of warm ups that lasted just long enough for kids to get out and go sledding. The few days we had in the thirties felt glorious.

Leo stood outside his front door ready to conquer the snow. Than that first fall came and snow was pushed into his mittens. There is a small amount of shock factor that hits when snow finds its way to the skin… but he was quickly off exploring again. After noses were cold, we went inside to make phone calls… read books… and make adorable finger prints on the glass doors. 🙂 Life with an 18 month old is a busy one. Maybe the busiest. With independence being a main priority, following directions often falls to the wayside. It is only a phase and will soon be replaced with another parenting challenge 🙂
I can hardly handle the cuteness of Leo making phone calls. His long hair gives a glimpse into his potential teenage years talking to a crush. Look at that face 🙂
