Kyle and Steph,

You are now six months in to this whole parenting thing and have established a pretty solid team raising this little man. While everyone differs in their parenting style, lets highlight a couple of the most entertaining things I’ve noticed so far.

Song choices: Finding a song that brings a sense of peace + relaxation for bedtime or happiness to your child is something everyone does. This difference in song choice for relaxation/ bedtime not only made me laugh, but I made them try both during the session. It was a tie 😉

Mom’s choice: The National Anthem hummed under her breath over and over until he falls back asleep.

Dad’s Choice: Somewhere over the rainbow by Isreal Kamakawiwo’ole (Yes, the name was important because he called out to “Alexa” to play it and stated the full name of the artist. I can’t pronounce this name no matter how many times I read it.)

Dad wins for best voices during story time and the comedic take on copying their child’s pose (see the second black and white photo with his finger in his mouth). Mom wins for getting Will to show off that toothless baby smile when singing, “Shake your sillies out”.

Since life with a little one becomes a constant battle for time, you have to find ways to stay entertained… even as a couple. These two are clearly making an effort to do just that.  Check out that coy expression below.  Batman and Ivy may have been given treats in the making of the photo below.  Let’s take a look at how much Will has grown in 6 months.
