There is a reason this baby’s smile is so sweet. It’s because she can hear the voice of her two favorite people. Mom and dad. You know all those crazy voices you make as a parent to entertain your kiddo? Well, this sweet girl was missing out on all that fun. Suri now has hearing aids that allow her to hear that silly voice her dad makes when he brings out her favorite little lamb. (He’s perfected it and she thinks it pretty great.) Doesn’t this little smile with the cutest dimples just make you realize how powerful sound is? I have grown up with a mom who could never hear like everyone else. While her hearing devices have now changed her life, I can only imagine how different her childhood could have been had she had the power to hear. Watching Miss Suri look up to mom and dad as they talked to her literally melted my heart.  That sweet little detail of mom and baby may not feel like “the portrait”… but it speaks to youth, beauty, and a timeless feel of an innocent babe. 40 years down the road, she may have one of these photos again with her granddaughter. 🙂 Suri’s hand with dad’s hand. Just adore that. That sweet little hand will never be that size again. 
If you know me, you know I’m an animal whisperer. So, when animals are roaming the house at a shoot it is my challenge to try and include them in some way. Even if it’s there own self portrait. 🙂 Just call me the cat lady.  I LOVE that reach for dad.  Can you even handle this cuteness??
