My Sister and making time for what’s important

December 22, 2011

I am in the business of reminding families of who they are and capturing all things that make them… well… them. I get so wrapped up in everyone else’s lives that I neglect my own sometimes. So… mid crazy, busy, starting to wonder why I don’t have an intern season, I decided to pay attention to my family. Last year my sister and I had a session that sent me threw the roof. Click here to look back at it. I was obsessed every second I was shooting, at her aura in front of the camera. Most of the shots last year were her cracking up at me because I was so frickin’ excited about the shots that were coming through my lens. So we decided to do it again this year. But… this was the quickest shoot I think I’ve ever shot. Due to early sunsets in the fall, we had to move quick. Really quick. I think I still managed to find enough time to capture who she is in her life right now. Overall… I would say happy 🙂 And me… I’m reminded to take time for myself and the people who love me.

I love the motion, the colors, and mood in this image below…love.

I feel like this image below needs to be on the cover of some magazine… she just has that look that stops you in your tracks.

This is me saying… go run in that field and play 🙂 Haha. She was totally cracking up at me and my commentary.

  1. Paul says:

Love the way your work with her and the way you make her smile. Nice job and thanks for making the rest of us smile along…

  2. Pam Leonard says:

    Jamie:

You have once again captured Megan’s beauty and smile.
    Happy New Year.

    Pam
