When shoes hurt, people are telling you what to do, and you just can’t seem to turn your frown upside down… all you can do is sit on the steps and gripe. Some of my favorite photos of my sister and I growing up are ones that my mom took even through the tantrums and pout faces. They are the ones that remind us of real life and simply make you laugh.

On this morning, Mac was not amused by anything I did and Tyler didn’t want me to boss him 🙂 In other words, they wanted to be independent and do what they wanted. So…. Tyler became my assistant and I let him think he was choosing spots for people to sit and was sure to allow them time to run and explore in between. It was the perfect magic wand in getting these two to like me by the end of the shoot 😉
