Six months is an age where littles can usually only soak in their surroundings instead of exploring them. They are usually sitting up on their own, giving them a new perspective, but can’t quite move yet. So… they gaze at what’s new and forget about the people trying to entertain them. As Henry sat under a big tree with falling yellow leaves… he was captivated. The texture of the dry leaves just beyond his reach, the warm fall wind in his face, and his Duece pup beside him made him forget about us. If someone had taken video of the things we did to try to get him smiling at us, they would’ve been extremely entertained. The things you do for your kids when no one is watching is a fine art of parenting. I think this little guy may be an explorer some day!
