Scooter rides. I would almost always save these until the end of our session to give the kids something to look forward to. I often start quiet and build my way up to the silliness. This time I started with their scooter rides… and it totally brought out those giggling smiles right away. Kyler and Delaney showed off just how much fun they are and their parents soaked in the joy. These kids are still at an age where they think their parents involvement means something. They want to race, be tickled, and play airplane. While life is busy, we have to remember to engage with the kids. Pull them off the iPad and get them outside. You see these happy faces down here? Not once did I hear them ask for an iPad… they simply wanted to explore. Cheers to happy parents making happy kids.
