To add to the parody of the year 2020, a snowstorm graced us a bit early. The trees had not all hit their peak color, many of the most beautiful trees had fresh leaves that brought color to the ground beneath them. And then snow. For most kids… it was a delight. For most adults… an eye roll and a bit of laughter. However, stepping back from the craziness of it all… it sure was beautiful. I am not sure I’ve ever seen a tree full of beautiful leaves along side a snow capped tree. It is one thing about this year that I will genuinely remember as a silver lining.

For the Dillon boys, they spent a solid 3 hours playing in the fresh snow as it arrived. I would say that is a win for the parents. 🙂
