Inside of a pretty package was a little surprise for Ella. She pulled out a shirt and slowly read… “Big Sister“. For a moment she sat a little confused and glanced back to the camera that was recording her. When she realized the she was going to be a Big Sister, she jumped with tear filled eyes and ran to mom and dad. As the time passed, Ella was adamant about having a little sister. She even had her moments when she simply did not want a little brother. As the doctor wrote across the screen… B-O-Y… Mom’s eyes got big as she awaited Ella’s possible disappointment of not having tea parties and playing dress up. Ella jumped up and immediately hugged mom and dad… almost as if she had forgotten how set her mind was. She is now completely smitten with him, checking on him the first thing in the morning and the second she arrives home from school. Everyone is quite fond of this new addition. Even “Nana” teared up as she nuzzled him close.
