On the first official day of summer, clouds parted, rain cleared and the sun came beaming through just in time for a quaint summer wedding. Jeff and Penny wanted to celebrate their love and new life together by exchanging vows on the day of the summer solstice. Severe weather was predicted for the evening, but surprisingly never showed. Much to our delight, the sun set beautifully over the golf course that has become a close knit part of their story.
Penny and friends handled all the decor and floral arrangements. It was absolutely beautiful.
There were many special touches for all the grandkids that would be celebrating with them. A perfect kids table with their own cups, games, stickers, pens and fun galore made for several kids to call this “the best wedding ever”. 🙂
A stolen glance during the perfect patio ceremony.
Joyful.
Everyone enjoyed the kids blowing bubbles as the ceremony ended.
With such a quaint group, Jeff had the opportunity to introduce and share short stories about all of their guests.
This summer evening concluded with a song sung by a a close friend with a booming voice. It was the perfect personal touch to the evening.
