On a perfect July day, Janet and James became husband and wife in the city where it all began. Madison was the place that first brought sparks into their lives that changed things forever. On the 4th of July weekend, they vowed, they laughed, and danced the night away with sun setting perfectly over the Capitol building. A perfectly written “toast/poem” given by Janet’s parents was one of the many highlights of the day. Here is just a snippet of this special tradition…
Those days here in Madison gave special memories to you two…
State Street, Sigma Pi, the Ohio State night game to name just a few.
But I’m sure the best day that stands out as a jewel
Is the day Janet was accepted into Midwestern Dental School.
So off to Phoenix you two took off in a flash
And both started school, watching the drain of your cash.
But soon you will finish and get on with “real life.”
And possibly move across country as husband and wife.
So here’s to a celebration each and every 4th of July holiday, where fireworks will boom and sparks will fly for this happy couple. While my assistant, Amy, grabbed this amazing photo below of their first look….I was down the line capturing this….The Badgers Football Stadium may not have shown up for us… but we didn’t let that get us down. We had our own sidewalk party 🙂One of my favorite moments of the day. Janet gathers her emotions before walking down the aisle, and her dad delicately fixes her veil. This will be a classic photo for years to come. That first embrace as Mr. and Mrs. . What an amazing photo caught by Amy!These guys were something else.Meanwhile, the ladies are looking absolutely gorgeous and running the streets of Madison.Group hug!
