At one years old, many little ones have issues with texture beneath their hands and feet. As the seasons change in that first year, being outdoors and everything that comes along with it is new. Grass and sand are typically the ones that kids either love… or hate. For Colin, his only issue is eating it 🙂 With his little lawn mower in tow, he is clearly showing signs that he will help dad in the yard as soon as he can. Looks like we are starting his working skills early! Even though this kid eats sand and army crawls to the water at lightning speed…. the smile on his face once he’s in the water is priceless. I think mom and dad will be spending lots of time in water during MN summers. What better way to celebrate the sunshine than with family photos on the beach!

Colin… you have quickly grown over this past year. While your pajama party with Molly and Gus were some of my absolute favorite photos with you… watching you fearlessly bolt to the water to splash around was pretty fantastic. So much more summer fun ahead for you this year!
