The day began with rain and wind and off roading through unmarked gravel roads. My assistant Amy and I aren’t afraid for a little adventure. 🙂 Just as we arrived to begin our day, the rain subsided and the clouds parted.. just long enough for all of our gorgeous out door photos and a perfect ceremony overlooking the lake. In an unreal moment while the butterflies were released after their kiss as husband and wife… one single butterfly flew to her bouquet and stayed put all the way down the aisle. It was beautiful and meaningful, but I didn’t realize how meaningful until I heard her mom tell the guests during her speech that Betta’s nickname was “Betta Butterfly”. My eyes filled with tears as I couldn’t imagine how meaningful that had to be for Betta’s parents. Betta and Igor spent a few moments alone as the guests went in for cocktail hour, and the rain began just as we stepped inside. It was as if clouds parted ways for these two. From the weather, the butterfly, the heartfelt speeches by the parents, and the Russian accent and comedic sayings by Igor father.. the day was a hit. Congrats to you both!
