He planned the proposal perfectly. A beautiful location with friends in tow to capture it on camera. Mike told Ashley the week of their weekend get away that they were heading up to Duluth. After a Friday overnight at a friend’s house, they headed to the North Shore for a hike at Tettegouche State Park. While this could’ve been a simple scenic hike, they found themselves 7 miles in… one way. The found their way to a waterfall with amazing views for a much needed break snacks and photos. Mike requested one more photo down on a rock closer to the waterfall. Ashley followed him down and crouched down with their pup only for him to ask her to stand back up. She still had no clue. He stepped back onto one knee and asked her a very important question. While it may have been a journey to reach that perfect place to ask that very important question… it was worth it. I can imagine the 7 miles back were a little more exciting as their emotions ran high. I am so excited to be able to capture this new journey in this couple’s story. Congratulations you two!
