In the blink of an eye, they go from needing you to fall asleep and holding your hand as they cross the street to preparing to live on their own. I imagine the years pass way too quickly and the little boy that once was, has grown up too soon. I hope that these images of Lucas show glimpses of what his mom remembers him as a little boy.
