As I walked into the house of a good college friend, I realized how much has changed. Who said it was ok for us to get older? Who said babies were something we would ever have? Weren’t we supposed to stay in our 5 bedroom apartment, swapping clothes, stories, heartache, and crushes? Walking in to see her holding a little baby… her little baby was a reminder of how much time has passed. The excitement of college crushes have been replaced with the excitement over nursery decor…and cheap alcoholic drinks have been replaced with coffee to stay awake (well… for the parents more so 😉 ) Although time has passed, I realize that I don’t feel as old as I thought I would as I approach 30. I think we are much cooler now than we ever were 😉 … but that could very well be what people say to convince themselves they are cool. Anyways, with time and change, there is nothing better than the soft skin, tiny fingers and toes,  and perfect little lips of a new baby. Congrats to my great friend Amber and husband Matt. I am sooooo glad you guys are back in Minnesota to share little “Walter Matthew” as I like to call him. Also known as Wally 🙂
