Attitude. Own it. Then change it.

January 30, 2012

I think we all have these days. We wake up. Look in the mirror. Stare. Criticize… and then let yourself stay in a slump all day thinking about everything that you haven’t gotten done, still need to do and don’t want to. Or… your simply having an “ugly day” and catch a glimpse of yourself in a mirror and can’t believe you walked out of the house with that shirt on. Yes, we all have these days. So, even if it’s just for one day… tell yourself you are going to give yourself 15 more minutes to have a bad attitude. Go ahead and own that attitude for the full 15 minutes and really sulk. Then, stand up from where your sitting… as much as you might not want to… stand up and decide to change your attitude. Just like that. Just do it. Aaaanndd if it doesn’t work…. well come see me and my bestie and we will do the song and dance we had to perform to get her daughter to get out of her funk. You will snap right out of it. Promise 🙂

Here’s Miss Kamryn at 9 months.
