I think I have found the perfect way to capture my high school seniors. Bring a friend to photos. Seriously. Whether or not your best friend is in the photos or not, the addition of their commentary and their inside jokes brings SO much to the expressions during the session. Derek brought his best friend along and he was the PERFECT addition to the day. While this session was primarily focused on capturing Derek for his senior year, we added in family photos and the best friends together. Can you imagine them 25 years later? Still laughing and joking around together? Many times I find that I am one on one with my high school seniors, which is also very fun…. but we kept this crew together for most of the time (or the best friends together) and the whole evening was seamless. So. Much. Laughter.
